The Bridge Tavern will be venturing into opening more days in the near future, so flexible schedules are encouraged, but in return we are also flexible with your schedule.
Job Overview
As a Front of House Team Member, you will play a crucial role in our culinary operations, ensuring that our front of house runs smoothly and efficiently. This position is primarily for serving tables, customer service, bartending, and creating cocktails with opportunities to grow within the restaurant positions. We value cleanliness and efficiency from our staff, as well as working hard under pressure. Capitol Theatre show nights bring the best out of our staff. Help prepare and execute busy lunch and dinner service right in the heart of Downtown Wheeling!
Responsibilities
- Serve customers at tables in our restaurant, bar and patio
- Take orders, prepare beverages, prepare soups and bus tables.
- Fill and maintain service stations with ice, sauces, dressings, silverware and napkins.
- Work on the floor with our other servers to ensure a quick and fluid lunch and dinner service.
- Keeping the restaurant and surrounding areas clean throughout and after the shift.
Experience
- Previous experience in a culinary or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen and restaurant.
- Beer, wine and spirits knowledge is essential.
- Open to new, trainable applicants.
- Perfect for students at surrounding Universities.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Projected Total Compensation: $5.00 - $10.00 per hour
