Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Superintendent / Project Manager to lead and manage construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in construction management, field coordination, and client communication—ensuring every project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise construction projects through all phases—planning, execution, and completion—using company project management software.
- Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to maintain production schedules, job quality, and client satisfaction.
- Manage bid solicitation, hiring, scheduling, and pay requests for subcontractors and vendors.
- Track budgets and performance to deliver high-quality, profitable projects.
- Identify and assist with preparing and processing change orders as needed.
- Maintain open and professional communication between clients, field operations, and company leadership.
- Monitor material usage to minimize waste and control costs.
- Provide consistent project updates regarding schedule, progress, and issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on all job sites.
- Review and interpret plans, specifications, and submittals, offering technical guidance as needed.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by company leadership.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or Project Manager (senior living or commercial construction preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and cost control
- Proven ability to lead subcontractors and field teams effectively
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (Procore, Buildertrend, etc. preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within Central Florida
