The Bridge Family Center is seeking a Therapist (Clinical Coordinator) for its West Hartford STTAR Home, serving adolescent females in DCF Care. This person will be responsible for individual, group and family treatment as well as monitoring all aspects of case management and clinical services related to the STTAR. Provides clinical supervision for program staff and overall program supervision in the absence of the Program Managers.

Job description
The STTAR Home is a community-based, structured, home-like setting with staffing, clinical services, and therapeutic support and guidance offered 24/7. It provides an intensive clinical treatment program that creates a physically, emotionally, and psychologically safe environment for adolescents with complex behavioral health care needs.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Responsible for individual, group and family treatment as well as monitoring all aspects of case management and clinical services related to the STAR.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
I. Clinical support
1. Works closely with staff team, residents and their families to facilitate treatment planning.
2. Monitors all aspects of case management including, treatment goals, assessments, medical care, transportation, and family involvement.
3. Responsible for individual, group and family treatment.
4. Coordinates all in house groups.
5. Documents all pertinent data.
6. Writes discharge summaries.
7. Works closely with STTAR Director and DCF representatives with regard to admissions.
8. Provides clinical support for residents and their families.
II. Administrative Duties.
1. Provides clinical supervision for residential staff along with STTAR Program Director.
2. Coordinates in service training programs.
3. Aides Program Director in data compilation.
4. Attends all STTAR staff and treatment plan meetings.
5. Participates in 24 hour on call rotation coverage.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Master's degree and a minimum of master's/associate's level licensure required (LMSW, LMFT-A, or LPC-A). Clinical licensure preferred (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) Experience working with youths and their families, preferably in a residential setting, as well as good communication and record-keeping skills, supervisory experience, and must be culturally sensitive. Must also have a valid driver’s license.

Skills: Demonstrate excellent individual, family and group counseling skills. Ability to interface with large social service agencies. Excellent time management and supervisory skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
