This grant-based position is your chance to provide essential support and guidance to individuals battling drug and alcohol use.
What We’re Looking For:
- Positive, fun, and reliable team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Part-time hours: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct outreach to the chronic homeless population.
- Observe, supervise, and document client behavior and participation.
- Communicate significant observations to the interdisciplinary team.
- Assist clients who may be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Conduct drug and alcohol screenings (UA/BAC).
- Address clients' immediate needs and respond to emergencies.
- Maintain professional, therapeutic relationships with clients and peers.
- Ensure confidentiality of client records.
- Model supportive behavior for clients in recovery.
What You Need:
- Two years of coursework or experience in a human services field, or two years of lived recovery experience with demonstrated skills.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Psychology, Sociology, or related field).
- Ability to work with diverse populations.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Valid Driver's License.
Part-Time Benefits:
