Line Cook
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong attention to detail, and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and ensuring all dishes meet quality and presentation expectations before leaving the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items in accordance with recipe standards and presentation guidelines.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of assigned station and overall kitchen area.
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures at all times.
- Work efficiently during service to meet ticket times while maintaining quality.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
- Assist with prep work, portioning, and daily production as directed by the Chef or Kitchen Manager.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock or equipment issues.
- Adhere to all restaurant policies regarding safety, hygiene, and professional conduct.
- Support other kitchen duties as assigned, including dishwashing or cleaning when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
- Strong understanding of cooking methods, knife skills, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to consistency and quality.
- Food Handler’s Certification (or ability to obtain one) required.
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Typical shift: 1:00 PM – 9:00/9:30 PM
- Flexible scheduling as needed (including weekends and holidays)
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
