Material Distribution Clerk

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing customers by performing counter sales, taking phone orders, picking orders, assembling tools, and other general warehouse tasks.

2.       What your compensation will look like:

·       $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.

·       Holiday pay.

·       Health insurance – including dental, vision, and life.

·       Seasonal bonus.

3.       What your day will look like:

·       Open and close the distribution store.

·       Handle daily sales; run Point of Sale, help customers, and pick orders.

·       Make and receive phone calls.

·       Interact and assist with customers and vendors.

·       File sales receipts and maintain records.

·       Perform regular cycle counts.

·       Stock, organize and clean the store front and storage area(s).

·       Assemble asphalt tools and hardware as required.

·       Operate a forklift to load customers.

4.       What your schedule will look like:

·       This is a seasonal position. The distribution store typically operates from mid-April through mid-October. During this period, the work week will look as follows:

o   8.5-hour shift Monday thru Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

5.       Requirements:

·       Minimum of a high school education or GED.

·       Working knowledge of MS Office Excel, Word and Outlook.

·       Experience in counter sales / operating cash register is preferred.

·       Simple math skills.

·       Self-motivated, great communication skills and willingness to learn.

·       Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

·       Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, and bending.

·       Must be able to operate a forklift, or willing to learn.

·       Willing to take on new tasks as assigned.

·       Must be able to work alone.

·       Pass a pre-employment and random drug screen (includes marijuana).

·       Pass pre-employment background check.
