What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/food prep position at The Brew Cafe?
The Brew Cafe is opening a second location in the Spark Matsunaga VA Medical Center on Tripler. We are looking for a friendly, responsible and reliable worker. Training will be done in the Kapolei location before moving up to the Tripler location.
Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers entering and leaving the business
- Accurately process all cash and credit payments
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Follow health and safety guidelines Interact with customers regularly and professionally
- Prepare hot coffee and prep cold food items.
- Be able to work independently.
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a cashier is a plus but not required
- High integrity with a great attendance record
- Basic mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
**Background check and finger printing will be required as well as a Food Handler's Certification.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4.0 – 19.0 per week
