Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bartender to join our family style team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.
We will be open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner 7 days a week Day shifts are 9am-4pm
You must be flexible and be able to work some Sundays and Holidays.
Must be Tips Certified and have Prior Bar Tending Experience.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and attended to.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Bar, and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Assist with hosting duties when necessary, including seating guests
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Experience in the restaurant industry, particularly in roles such as serving or hosting in fine dining establishments or nightclubs.
- Knowledge of culinary practices is a plus, enhancing your ability to communicate effectively about menu items.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
