What are the responsibilities and job description for the New Business & Growth Manager position at The Breadwinners Club?
Company Description
The Breadwinners Club is a Gen-Z-led growth and performance marketing agency that helps consumer apps scale through TikTok-first acquisition. We’ve driven 456M views across 6K posts, manage $10M in annual ad spend, and have worked with fast-growing startups and brands like Perplexity, Figma, ThredUp, Zora, and Frito-Lay.
Our model is simple:
• Produce 100 lo-fi TikToks per month per client
• Rapidly test hooks, formats, and narratives
• Identify winning creatives
• Scale winners through paid ads to drive efficient installs
We move fast, test aggressively, and care about results over vanity metrics. We’re intentionally building a collaborative, in-person culture, with the team working together in Plano, TX three days per week.
The Role
We’re hiring a New Business & Growth Manager to own the full lifecycle of new revenue — from inbound leads to closed deals, signed contracts, and clean handoffs to delivery.
This role is ideal for someone with agency experience who understands how the work actually gets done and can sell it honestly. You’ll start by owning inbound and relationship-driven deals, then help us build a thoughtful outbound system, expand our mid-ticket and low-ticket offerings, and support our move up-market toward larger, enterprise-level clients (including Fortune 1000).
This is not a traditional sales role. There’s no spray-and-pray outbound, no rigid scripts, and no overselling. You’ll be trusted to qualify properly, shape realistic scopes, close confidently, and protect long-term client success.
What You’ll Do
Inbound & Relationship-Led Deals
• Own all inbound leads, referrals, and warm introductions
• Run discovery calls and qualify fit (ICP, budget, urgency)
• Shape scopes and pricing aligned with how we actually deliver
• Close deals end-to-end
• Send contracts, manage signatures, and ensure clean handoffs to delivery
Outbound System (Built Thoughtfully)
• Help design and run a targeted outbound motion (quality > volume)
• Identify high-fit companies we should proactively talk to
• Personalize outreach using real context (TikTok presence, ads, launches, funding, etc.)
• Test outbound messaging and refine what works
• Use outbound conversations as a feedback loop to sharpen positioning and pricing
Offer Expansion (Mid-Ticket & Low-Ticket)
• Help shape and refine productized mid-ticket and low-ticket offerings
• Route inbound leads into the right tier based on fit and readiness
• Improve deal velocity and close rates through clearer packaging
• Identify repeatable asks that can become scalable offers
Enterprise & Up-Market Growth
• Support larger, more complex deals (including Fortune 1000 prospects)
• Help manage longer sales cycles with clear next steps and expectations
• Partner with leadership to present a calm, credible, process-driven sales experience
• Ensure scopes, timelines, and delivery plans feel enterprise-ready
Revenue & Process Ownership
• Maintain clean pipeline visibility and deal tracking
• Ensure follow-ups don’t drop
• Improve pricing consistency and deal hygiene
• Partner closely with account managers to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term success
What We’re Looking For
• 2–6 years experience in agency, growth, or client-services environments
• Comfortable owning deals from first call → signed contract
• Strong understanding of marketing scopes, timelines, and tradeoffs
• Confident communicator who builds trust with founders and growth teams
• Organized, proactive, and decisive
• Interested in building systems and offerings, not just closing one-off deals
• Excited to work in-person in Plano, TX three days per week
Bonus Points
• Experience selling marketing or creative services
• Experience working with consumer apps or TikTok-driven growth
• Experience supporting enterprise or larger-scale clients
• Experience building outbound or partnerships at an agency
Why This Role
• High ownership and autonomy
• Direct impact on revenue, offerings, and company direction
• Work closely with the founder and leadership team
• Strong in-person collaboration and culture
• Opportunity to help shape how the agency grows — from productized offers to enterprise partnerships
Optional Flexibility
While this role is Plano-first and hybrid by default, we may consider exceptions for truly exceptional candidates.
Salary : $10
