Community Outreach Assistant (Part-Time, Teen Friendly)

Pay: $16–$18 per hour
Hours: Flexible, approximately 2–8 hours per week (extremely flexible with school schedules and responsibilities outside of work)

We are looking for a few dependable and friendly people to help promote our local cleaning business. This is a flexible position that is especially good for high school or college students who want a small number of hours that can fit around school, sports, or other responsibilities.

We plan to hire team members in different cities and create local routes around the areas where each person lives. For example, someone who lives near Severn would mainly receive routes in Severn and nearby communities instead of being expected to travel into Baltimore.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver door hangers in assigned neighborhoods
• Help at community events and local promotions
• Hand out flyers or promotional items
• Take simple photos or short videos for social media
• Help create basic social media posts
• Keep track of completed streets or locations

Most assignments will last about 2–4 hours. You will receive the route, materials, and instructions before starting.

Flexible Scheduling

There is no set weekly schedule. We will work around your general availability and plan assignments ahead of time whenever possible.

You are not required to accept every date offered. We are mainly looking for people we can trust to communicate clearly, show up when they agree to an assignment, and complete their route.

Hours may vary from week to week and are not guaranteed. This position is best for someone looking for flexible extra income rather than a traditional job with a fixed weekly schedule.

Requirements

• Must be dependable and communicate well
• Must have a phone for scheduling and updates
• Must have a reliable way to reach local assignments
• Comfortable walking outdoors for 2–4 hours
• Comfortable taking simple photos or videos
• Able to follow a route and work independently
• Must be professional and respectful in neighborhoods and at events
• Applicants age 16 and older are welcome

No previous marketing experience is required. Instructions and materials will be provided.
