What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Relations Intern: Food, Beverage & Hospitality Team position at The Brand Guild?
The Brand Guild is looking for a Public Relations intern to work with our DC-based Food, Beverage & Hospitality team in Spring of 2026! We are a creative and passionate group of experts across Public Relations, Marketing, Events and Creative that build strategies, create experiences, and influence audiences for our clients. Our internships provide invaluable hands-on experience in a fantastic work environment, with the option for college credit. Our PR intern will work directly with either the Food, Beverage & Hospitality team catering to national food and beverage clients, local DC hospitality clients and national spirits brands on the creation of campaigns and concepts from ideation all the way through implementation.
Please note:
- Interns will receive a stipend of $2,500 (paid in 2 installments, one at the mid-point and one upon successful completion of the internship session)
- Interns are required to work a minimum of 16 hours per week
- Interns are required to be in office at least 1 day/week
You will:
- Perform and compile research on existing and potential clients and brands
- Assist with the creation of internal and external materials, such as pitches, media lists, and press reports
- Coordinate and send media and influencer mailers
- Perform other tasks as needed to support our PR team
