What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Coordinator/ Dispatcher position at The Bradley Group?
We're looking for a detail-driven team member to own our work order and invoicing process from the first customer call to the final bill. You'll be the first point of contact for service customers, turning their calls into accurate work orders, getting those orders to the right technician fast, and making sure completed work is invoiced correctly and on time. This is a fast-paced commercial maintenance environment where accurate paperwork keeps the whole operation running.
What You'll Do
- Create and enter accurate work orders in our service management software (Trimble Vista) based on customer information
- Route work orders to the appropriate technician quickly and coordinate smooth handoffs with technicians and staff
- Prepare, process, and send customer invoices for completed work
- Keep complete, accurate records in Trimble Vista so every job is documented and billable
- Answer incoming calls and gather detailed service needs and job information from customers
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, technicians, and vendors throughout the day
What You Bring
- Previous experience with invoicing and work orders (required)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and billing
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple work orders and invoices at once
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new software
- Strong customer service and communication skills, on the phone and in person
- A thick skin and even temperament. You'll work with a wide range of personalities, including direct, no-nonsense tradespeople, and won't take a gruff tone personally
- The ability to stay calm and professional during busy, high-call-volume periods
Salary : $20 - $22
