The Bradley Group is currently seeking a Senior Business Development Manager.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic, client-focused sales leader responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and cultivating long-term partnerships for our staffing agency. This role combines high-level relationship management with hands-on new business acquisition, requiring expert knowledge of staffing solutions, workforce trends, and client needs across multiple industries. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the staffing or workforce solutions space.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Strategy
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within assigned markets and verticals.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals.
- Lead end-to-end sales activities including prospecting, needs analysis, solution design, pricing, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects using CRM tools and market intelligence.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring deep understanding of their hiring needs, workforce challenges, and organizational goals.
- Work collaboratively with internal recruiting teams to ensure successful fulfillment and delivery of staffing solutions.
- Conduct client presentations, business reviews, and workforce planning meetings to strengthen long-term relationships.
- Resolve escalations and ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and service excellence.
Market & Industry Expertise
- Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and industry trends to identify new opportunities and inform sales strategy.
- Represent the company at networking events, conferences, trade shows, and industry associations.
- Provide insights to leadership regarding service enhancements, pricing strategies, and market expansion opportunities.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Mentor junior sales staff, sharing best practices in prospecting, relationship management, and closing strategies.
- Partner with marketing, recruiting, and operations to support integrated go-to-market initiatives.
- Contribute to continuous process improvements that enhance efficiency and client experience.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–8 years of successful B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in staffing, recruiting, workforce solutions, or HR services.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
- Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Bullhorn, HubSpot).
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and events.
Preferred
- Experience selling both temporary/contract staffing and direct-hire solutions.
- Knowledge of multiple industry verticals such as IT, light industrial, healthcare, professional services, or administrative staffing.
