The Bradley Group is currently hiring Production Workers for a manufacturing facility in Lexington, NC. This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity for dependable candidates looking for long-term employment.
Manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic who are reliable, willing to learn, and able to work a 12-hour schedule.
Schedule
This position follows a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, working 12-hour shifts:
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
3rd Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
The 2-2-3 schedule includes a combination of workdays and days off. Candidates must be flexible to work overtime and additional hours as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Stack and adjust sheets of paper on production lines and pallets
- Prepare and band pallets for shipment
- Assist machine operators in wet and dry production areas
- Help restart the production process following downtime
- Clean machinery and production areas
- Sweep floors and remove paper debris, resin, and dust
- Empty trash cans and dumpsters
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety rules and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Manufacturing or forklift experience is preferred, but not required
- Previous paper manufacturing experience is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good attendance and punctuality are required
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and overtime
- Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently bend and step up/down
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to read, write, and understand written instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Must be willing to follow all plant safety policies and procedures
