Description The Delivery Driver is a full-time, on-site role based in Delray Beach, FL. This role is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading products to customers or designated locations, ensuring orders are complete, accurate, and handled with care. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting vehicles for safety, following delivery routes and schedules, verifying delivery documentation, and maintaining clean and organized transport areas. The Delivery Driver interacts with customers at drop-off points, provides courteous service, and coordinates with market staff to address delivery issues or special requests. The role may also involve assisting with product handling on-site, including moving inventory and supporting basic warehouse operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, handle questions, and provide a positive delivery experience.
- Ability to support Sales activities by representing the market professionally and promoting products when interacting with customers.
- Experience or willingness to learn Food & Beverage handling best practices to ensure safe, clean, and proper transport of perishable items.
- Basic Forklift Operation or pallet jack experience, or willingness to be trained in safe equipment use for loading and unloading deliveries.
- Comfort with Training and following standard operating procedures, including safety, hygiene, and delivery protocols.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to meet company driving requirements.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
