As a key leader of the Make Progress team (MP), the Clinical Supervisor supervises and supports the Clinical Services department (Advocates, Counselors, Social Workers, Vocational Counselors, Clinical Interns) in the Men's Residential Program to provide integrated, Christ-centered care and services that equip residential clients to make progress on their independent living goals. Works with Community Life and Spiritual Formation to establish a safe, welcoming, and trauma-informed community that reflects the transformational love of God. Equips and trains the Clinical Services department to perform and coordinate all services related to the social and mental health needs of clients including clinical evaluations, assessments, and internal/external referrals that support a holistic continuum of care. With supervisor, fosters external partnerships to expand MP programming. Works closely with the Community Life department to achieve excellence in standards of client care, census and outcome goals, hospitality, physical safety, and crisis intervention. Provides coverage for MP Community Life functions as needed. Fosters cross-departmental collaboration with Spiritual Formation, Choose Help, Operations, and Volunteer Services team members. Provides support to Campus Leader as needed.

Specific Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Assist supervisor in service delivery to support client Individual Action Plan goals and oversee each client’s progress.
  • Ensure clinical care is integrated, faith-based, empowering, and trauma-informed.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to Clinical Services department to support excellence in client care, clinical practice, and daily operations.
  • Facilitate regular Clinical Services department meetings and case reviews.
  • Demonstrate and coach combined MP staff in best practices of client engagement, including risk assessment, crisis management, and incident reporting.
  • Manage and review Clinical Services’ record-keeping on case-management software platform.
  • Use knowledge of clinical profession to foster and enhance an interdisciplinary approach to treatment.
  • Carry small caseload of assigned clients.
  • Interact with internal and external service providers to coordinate care and enhance working relationships.
  • Ensure census and client data is accurately recorded after every shift and compliance with verbal and written reporting protocols.
  • Conduct quality assurance review of clinical interventions, services, and procedure.
  • Review case records for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulations and procedures.

Requirements

  • Embrace's the organization’s Statement of Faith.
  • LMHC, LMSW or LCSW.
  • 3 years in ministry, non-profit, or human services with supervisory and strong customer service duties.
  • 3 years’ clinical services with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Master of Social Work or Mental Health Counseling, or a combination of education and additional work experience.
  • Effective communication and recordkeeping.
  • Confidentiality standards.

Preferred

  • Christian integration in counseling. Treatment and recovery processes for trauma and co-occurring disorders in a residential setting.
  • Mental Health First Aid.
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention.
  • Motivational Interviewing.
  • Trauma-informed Care.
  • First Aid/CPR.

Salary commensurate with relevant education & experience: $80,000-$85,000 annually.
