Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Staff Accountant position located in Toledo, OH. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts. Additional responsibilities include assisting with tax preparation, processing payroll, maintaining compliance with financial regulations, and collaborating with clients to support their financial needs. Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience in Public Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related work required
- Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement preparation, and general ledger management
- Experience in tax preparation, payroll processing, and bookkeeping
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy and timely compliance
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and craft actionable insights
- Clear and effective communication and collaboration skills to engage with clients and internal teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent field of study
- CPA designation or progress toward certification is a plus
- Prior experience in public accounting or a related field is highly desirable
