What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sloan, Tuck, DBCG, and ADC Talent Acquisition Specialist position at The Boston Consulting Group?
Under the direction of the Head of Sloan, Tuck, and DigitalBCG Campus and the ADC Lead, you will support the complete life cycle of Sloan, Tuck, DigitalBCG, and Advanced Degree Consultant (ADC) recruiting efforts. This includes event planning and execution, marketing and branding related activities, planning and execution of the interview process, candidate communication, campus team communication and relationship building and conversion support. You will work closely with school Specialists, On-Campus Career Services teams, NAMR office Talent Acquisition teams and other North America Core MBA Talent Acquisition specialists and team members.
Manage logistics (planning, correspondence, execution) of the recruiting process from marketing and events planning, through screening, interviewing and conversion
Support candidate relationship building: following up on all candidate inquiries, creating positive BCG recruiting experiences by serving as a friendly, welcoming face to BCG
Cultivating relationships with campus career services and campus clubs and developing BCG’s brand on campus
Continually collect and analyze information and evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting activities, providing valuable input aimed at continuously improving our recruiting efforts; monitor and analyze the competitive environment
Drive conversion activities for offerees
Help develop the school recruiting plans; including season analyses, qualitative groups, specialist and candidate surveys, etc
Use the database and other tools to manage data and generate correspondence, reports, interview and event invitations
Lead and execute strategic projects as needed
Bachelor’s degree required
2-4 years of recruiting, HR, or relevant experience required
High customer service and relationship orientation - strong interpersonal and communication skills, highly responsive, want to deliver great results at all times, able to develop effective working relationships with colleagues across the organization and candidates
Excellent time and project management skills. You have clear systems and composure to deal with multiple tasks at once, with a great attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when under pressure.
Organizational skills to assist with all the behind-the-scenes magic while providing creative solutions, driving our high-level customer service, and positively impacting our recruiting efforts
A strong intellectual curiosity. You’re a creative thinker, interested in the bigger picture, always looking to solve problems
Self-motivated and trustworthy. You take initiative and are able to work independently, exercising judgment in managing confidential/sensitive information
Ability to work overtime during peak recruiting periods
Strong computer and database skills: Outlook, Word, Excel (preferred), and PowerPoint
