Job Description:
Position Summary: The Bookkeeper position creates financial transactions and generates reports from that information for all locations; Kansas City, Central Missouri, New Mexico, El Paso and Houston. The creation of financial transactions includes posting information to accounting journals or accounting software from such source documents as invoices to customers, cash receipts, and supplier invoices. The bookkeeper also reconciles accounts to ensure their accuracy.

- Maintains confidentiality on all matters related to the position and organization
- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting function of the organization including monthly, quarterly, and yearly end process; accounts payable/receivables; cash receipts; general ledger; revenue and expenditure variance analysis; capital asset reconciliations; check runs; fixed asset activity; and debt activity for all locations.
- Process bank wire and ACH’s for locations.
- Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports and/or statements
- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles for all locations.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
- Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
High school diploma/GED required. Some college preferred. Minimum three (3) years of relevant work experience in the accounting field required.
Language Ability:
Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public.
Mathematical Ability:
Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
Reasoning Ability:
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Computer Skills:
At least two (2) years of computer experience and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, QuickBooks Online, and Teams.
