The Bone Museum is looking for a talented Video Editor to enhance our digital media presence. This is a full-time, hybrid position ideal for a technically skilled Video editor who is eager to grow with our expanding digital platform.

About the Role

You will be responsible for editing long-form YouTube videos from start to finish, as well as creating and clipping short-form promotional content for the museum's various social media pages. This role also entails effective file management and editing short-form reels that capture our audience's attention. You will collaborate closely with The Bone Museum Team to edit engaging content in addition to working alongside our in-house videographer. Consistency, organization, and a clear understanding of pacing and visual engagement across platforms are essential. We are seeking a dedicated in-house editor to manage all our media needs.

Responsibilities

• Edit long form content end-to-end using DaVinci Resolve Studio.
• Edit short-form content optimized for social platforms.
• Adhere to an organized workflow to deliver approximately 2 long-form YouTube videos and 20 short-form videos per month aligned with weekly publishing goals.
• Apply platform-specific pacing, visual rhythm, and engagement principles

Qualifications

• 2 years of combined experience in video editing & content creation
• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve
• Moderate proficiency in Motion graphics, audio, color correction, alongside a loose/adaptive understanding of anatomy.
• Understanding of YouTube and Social Media engagement.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Creatively driven work ethic.
