The Bonadio Group is currently seeking a Corporate Accountant to ensure the efficient operation for the planning, directing, and coordinating of all accounting operational functions. This individual will work with internal customers to assist in the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results. This position will report into the Albany, New York location with The Bonadio Group.

Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation of internal and external financial reports
- Assisting with establishing and maintaining standardized accounting procedures and processes
- Assisting in the timely and accurate preparation of all aspects of the financial statement package
- Perform general ledger accounting duties, such as creating and posting journal entries, maintaining subledgers, and general ledger account reconciliations
- Demonstrate the ability to identify issues and apply appropriate accounting principles
- Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process
- Assisting with the budgeting and tax planning process
- Assisting in the assessment of current accounting operations and internal controls, offering recommendations for improvement and implementation of new processes
- Assist with other finance projects as assigned
Required:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance
- A minimum of two years of experience in an accounting function
- Candidates must possess solid communication, technology, analytical, and management skills
- A master’s degree in business administration or CPA/CMA designations
- Previous experience in public accounting
Hours Of Operation
- Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
- Our summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday
- We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak times
