Boldt is hiring a Traveling Senior Project Manager to lead $50M power-generation construction projects across the U.S. with full accountability for outcomes—delivering safe execution, schedule certainty, quality, and predictable financial performance from preconstruction through commissioning, turnover, and closeout. The anticipated salary range for this position is $175,000 - $220,000 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
This role is hands-on and execution-focused, with direct ownership of self-perform work in a union environment (labor planning, means-and-methods, equipment management, productivity, and field problem-solving) while driving project controls and delivery. This role is also responsible for budget forecasting and earned value management; critical path scheduling; engineering and stakeholder interfaces; code and pressure-piping compliance; subcontractor and supplier performance; and building a high-performing team that makes and meets commitments.

What You Bring
- Proven project leadership experience on large-scale industrial or power projects with full accountability for $50M scopes (larger preferred).
- Experience delivering power generation or industrial projects (simple or combined-cycle, fossil, or similar environments)
- Proven experience leading large, complex construction projects with full accountability for safety, quality, schedule, and financial outcomes
- A hands-on leadership style that earns respect in the field and creates alignment across craft, partners, and clients
- Experience managing self-perform work in union environments, with a strong grasp of labor planning, productivity, and field execution
- The ability to lead teams through complexity—removing obstacles, making clear decisions, and keeping people focused on what matters most
- Strong understanding of project financials and controls, including forecasting, cost management, and earned value
- Advanced scheduling knowledge, including critical path management and Primavera P6
- Experience coordinating engineers, owners, subcontractors, and suppliers with transparency and trust
- Knowledge of code and quality requirements, including pressure piping and compliance expectations
- Clear, respectful communication skills with the ability to challenge issues directly while strengthening relationships
- Comfort traveling 100% to project sites and being present where the work happens
- Familiarity with equipment such as turbines, HRSGs, steam systems, and high-voltage electrical work
- Experience driving disciplined turnover, commissioning support, and project closeout
- Proficiency with tools such as Bluebeam and other construction technology platforms
- A passion for mentoring and developing future leaders
- Experience working on geographically diverse or nationally distributed project teams
