Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to understand individual needs, limitations, and goals
- Develop tailored stretching programs that incorporate techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
- Perform safe and effective assisted stretching sessions to improve flexibility and reduce muscle tightness
- Educate clients on proper stretching routines and self-care practices to promote long-term wellness
- Monitor patient progress throughout treatment sessions and adjust techniques accordingly
- Maintain detailed records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and session notes using appropriate medical terminology
- Ensure a welcoming environment by providing excellent customer service and addressing client questions or concerns promptly
Experience
- Prior experience in patient service or healthcare settings, preferably within a med spa or occupational health environment
- Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health
- Hands-on experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
- Familiarity with patient assessment procedures and developing personalized treatment plans
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse clients
- Previous work in spa settings is highly desirable
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting client safety, comfort, and overall well-being
