Group Fitness Instructor / Class Specialist (Part-Time)

About Us:
The Body Shop is Albion's premier community gym focused on functional fitness. Our members love variety, hard work, and a supportive team environment. We are seeking a versatile, high-energy Group Fitness Instructor who can confidently coach a diverse range of class styles—from high-octane conditioning to mindful movement. If you love leading a room and want to help Albion residents move better and feel stronger, we want you on our team. What You Will Do:

• Diversify: Lead a variety of weekly scheduled classes, including Bootcamp, Circuit Training, and Yoga/Mobility.
• Command: Manage group energy, class flow, and timing for rooms of 10 to 20 participants.
• Coach: Demonstrate proper form, functional mechanics, and safe yoga poses.
• Modify: Provide instant modifications (regressions and progressions) to accommodate all fitness levels in the same room.
• Connect: Build a loyal following by creating a welcoming, inclusive, and motivating class culture

What We Are Looking For:

• Certified: Group Fitness Certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM) and/or a Yoga Certification (RYT-200).
• Versatile: Proven experience teaching both high-intensity formats (Bootcamp/Circuits) and mind-body formats (Yoga).
• Dynamic: Excellent cueing skills, a powerful coaching voice, and great musical playlist curation.
• Preffered: Active CPR and AED certifications.
