Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or catering settings is highly desirable. The Boathouse will be closed for a major remodel November 1st. There is future employment at other loactions such as the Hazelhurts Pub and Gaslight Tavern Lake Tom
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including drink specials and food pairings.
- Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and payment handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs promptly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
- Manage time effectively to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and tracking stock levels.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of beverages and supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during banquets or catering events.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, brewing techniques, and cocktail preparation.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
- Strong sales skills to promote menu items effectively.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a positive guest experience.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices in the food industry.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
