Some Bartending Experience Required. We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced barback on the weekends (Friday Saturday and some Sundays) to provide an excellent guest experience. Enjoy us on Isle of Palms! Beautiful sunsets and dolphin views. High volume seafood restaurant. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly and tips. Bars are full service. Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve appetizers and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare fun easy to make cocktails
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Passion for food and fun!
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender/ server
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate (SERVsafe Food Handlers / Alcohol Certification)
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 12 per week
