Job Title: Dock Hand (Seasonal – Potential for Full Time)

Starting Pay: $13.00/hr (increases to $15.00/hr once fully trained on boats)
Job Description:
Boathouse Marina is hiring a seasonal Dock Hand to join our team! We’re looking for someone dependable, hardworking, and comfortable around boats and equipment. This is a hands-on, outdoor position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role for the right person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with docking and launching boats
- Drive and maneuver boats as needed (training provided)
- Operate a tractor to move trailers and equipment
- Fuel boats and perform light maintenance
- Keep the dock and marina area clean and safe
- Deliver great customer service to boaters and guests
- Work weekends and holidays — weekends are a must, as they are our busiest time
Requirements:
- Experience driving boats is strongly preferred
- Must know how to operate a tractor (or willing to learn quickly)
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in all weather
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs and handle marina tasks
- Must be available to work weekends and summer holidays
Pay Structure:
- Starts at $13.00/hour
- Increases to $15.00/hour once fully trained on boat operations
Seasonal Position:
This is a seasonal job, but there is potential for it to become a full-time role based on performance.
