Position Summary:
The School of Teacher Education at the University of
Northern Colorado invites applications for part-time supervisor positions as we
build our capacity to offer quality instruction to graduate students in our
Master’s degree with World Languages teacher licensure program. Part-time
supervisors hired will become vital members of the School’s nationally
recognized teacher preparation programs, committed to the preparation of
teachers teaching World Languages in K-12 setting. These positions are
filled semester by semester based on the needs of different programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA degree in relevant and appropriate area is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications include K-12 teaching experience in
World Language (Mandarin Chinese strongly desired) setting, and/or supervision
experience, demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively in school settings,
knowledge of teaching best practices in World Language education. We seek
candidates who can provide excellent classroom knowledge and a positive model
of leadership in K-12 World Language Education.

Full-time employees are eligible to receive tuition waiver benefits, as well as dependents and spouses of UNC Employees who are employed at 0.5 FTE or above are eligible for undergraduate dependent tuition grants of up to 50%. These tuition grants will cover in-state tuition charges. Further requirements may exist. Other benefits may be available based on position.
