Job Responsibilities
The Business Analyst will be primarily responsible for:
- Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff to define business requirements and system goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
- Overseeing and coordinating the design and implementation of new developements and enhancements.
- Performing cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.
- Ensuring the effective utilization of resources and the prioritization of work during the business planning process.
- Producing written documentation to support new business processes, systems, and solutions.
- Helping to implement a comprehensive management plan for each project and holding regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated in project progress.
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
Essential skills and qualifications include:
- A Bachelor's degree in business or related field or an MBA.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Advanced technical skills and excellent documentation skills.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
