Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team! Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently while following proper sanitizing procedures.
• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and organizing supplies.
• Support the kitchen team by handling manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the kitchen area, including floors, surfaces, and storage spaces.
• Follow all kitchen health and safety standards to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
• Support food handling procedures by adhering to proper hygiene practices and food safety management protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
• Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards within a commercial kitchen setting.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of supplies and equipment safely.
• Basic understanding of operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and cleaning tools.
• Good knife skills are a plus for assisting with food prep tasks when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness, sanitation, and safety compliance.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
