Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. We're looking for someone who is looking for a few shifts during the week and available to pick up on the weekends.
As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious coffee beverages along with alcoholic beverages. If you have a passion for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you!
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Ensure quality control by following recipes and brewing techniques
- Stock inventory and replenish supplies as needed
- Assist with food preparation and handling as required
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and latte art is a plus
- Familiarity with Toast POS system or similar point-of-sale software is an advantage
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
