The Blue Feather Kitchen & Bar is a casual yet elevated restaurant and bar located in downtown Lewiston. We take pride in offering exceptional food, creative cocktails, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’re looking for a motivated and personable Bartender/Server to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Bartender/Server is responsible for providing guests with outstanding service, crafting high-quality cocktails, and ensuring a positive dining and bar experience. This role will include both bartending and serving shifts based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and accuracy
- Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service to all guests
- Take food and beverage orders, enter them accurately into the POS system, and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized bar and service area
- Assist with bar setup, breakdown, restocking, and inventory
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service policies
- Work collaboratively with team members and management to ensure smooth service
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years bartending experience
- Must be willing to work both bartending and serving shifts
- Evening and weekend availability required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
**Serving minimum wage plus tips
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
