Warehouse Supervisor – Early Morning Shift (3:00 AM–12:00 PM)Location: Stevensville, MD Reports To: Maryland Terminal ManagerAbout the RoleWe’re looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead early-morning operations at our Maryland LTL terminal specializing in flooring products. In this role, you’ll oversee inbound and outbound freight, direct a small warehouse team, and ensure safe, accurate, and efficient handling of all materials. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy leading by example, this is an excellent opportunity to step into a critical leadership position.What You’ll DoInbound & Outbound OperationsSupervise unloading of inbound trucks starting at 3:00 AMOversee scanning, staging, and movement of flooring productsManage outbound truck loading, load sequencing, and securementEnsure all freight meets company and customer standardsInventory & AccuracyUse handheld scanners and warehouse systems to track and update inventoryMaintain accurate product counts and resolve discrepanciesCollaborate with customer service and terminal management on missing or damaged freightSafety & EquipmentOperate forklifts and train employees in safe forklift useEnforce safety standards and conduct equipment/warehouse inspectionsMaintain a clean, organized, hazard-free workspaceLeadershipAssign daily tasks and maintain productivity for early shift staffSupport training, coaching, and development of warehouse associatesCommunicate effectively with drivers, customer service, and managementProcess & ComplianceEnsure adherence to company policies, DOT regulations, and OSHA guidelinesIdentify workflow improvements and assist with operational reportingWhat You Bring2 years of warehouse or freight operations experience (LTL strongly preferred)Previous supervisory or team lead experience a plusForklift experience (certification preferred or able to obtain)Comfortable using handheld scanners and warehouse technologyAbility to lift and handle flooring products as neededStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsReliability and commitment to a consistent 3:00 AM – 12:00 PM scheduleCompensation & Benefits$28/hour to start – weekly pay via direct depositHealth insurance (company pays ~50% on select plans)Employer-sponsored Short-Term DisabilityOptional Dental, Vision & Life Insurance80 hours PTO, available after 90 days401(k) with company matchCompany DescriptionWe help skilled tradespeople find jobs they love with top employers, fair pay, real growth, and career support every step of the way.
