Position Overview

We seek an experienced HVAC Service Technician III for our Asheville, NC team. Candidates must have 7 years of commercial HVAC experience, an active EPA Certification, and advanced problem-solving skills. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, and VRF systems, while delivering elite customer service.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues in HVAC, refrigeration, and food service equipment (15 tons ), ensuring no callbacks.

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair complex systems, including boilers, chillers, VFDs, VRFs, and chilled water systems.

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and replacements on mini-splits and smaller RTUs (15 tons or less).

• Manage large preventative maintenance contracts (5 units).

• Communicate with dispatch and account managers for job completion and client updates.

• Provide exceptional customer service, clearly explaining issues and resolutions.

Accountabilities

• Pursue advanced skill development through company training programs.

• Deliver elite customer service to ensure client satisfaction.

• Uphold safety standards, including OSHA compliance and PPE use.

Organizational Alignment

Reports to the local Project Manager, collaborating with the service team and clients.

Qualifications

• Required:

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable record.

  • Active EPA Certification.

  • 7 years in commercial HVAC settings.

  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening.

• Preferred:

  • OSHA 10 & 30 certifications.

  • Manufacturer certifications.

  • Experience with boilers, chillers, VFDs, VRFs, or chilled water systems.
