What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elevator Mechanic position at The Blue Collar Recruiter - Marietta?
We are looking for an Elevator Mechanic who has commercial repair and service experience to run a service route in the Raleigh, NC area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Servicing and repairing commercial elevators:
Able to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical parts
Timely completion of assigned preventative maintenance
Daily closing of assigned tickets with accurate information.
Communication on elevator status with on-site personnel.
Understanding the use of PPE and all safety rules
Understanding of wiring diagrams
Elevator Mechanic Requirements:
• Relevant mechanical certification - Elevator Mechanic License preferred.
• Previous work experience as an elevator mechanic running a service route.
• Advanced knowledge of elevator systems, mechanical walkways, and escalators.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to travel and work after hours when required.
Must have a clean driving record with no recent tickets or accidents in the past three years
Must pass a drug and background screen
Salary : $28 - $50
