Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing attentive service to guests, ensuring their needs are met, and contributing to a positive atmosphere within the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing menu information and recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS/Handheld systems.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash and CC transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster positive guest relations.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards during food handling and preparation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings, but not required.
- On-premise alcohol card Food permit required (in Utah).
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Must possess strong communication skills for effective guest interaction and teamwork.
