Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that foster creativity, literacy, numeracy, and social skills in preschool-aged children.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive behavior and supports individual learning styles.
• Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain discipline and promote respectful interactions among students.
• Engage children in activities that promote physical development, early intervention strategies, and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress, behavioral concerns, and developmental milestones.
• Support children with special needs by adapting lessons and activities to meet their unique requirements and promote inclusive learning experiences.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management within preschool or daycare settings.
• Proficiency in working with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers, with a focus on toddler care.
• Familiarity with special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support diverse learners.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
• Ability to manage behavior constructively while fostering a nurturing environment that promotes child welfare.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
