We have an immediate need for a Director of Activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an annual calendar of activities for the residents that will allow provide opportunities for residents to socialize and enjoy recreational activities each day.
- Plan in-house events that promote family, joy and socialization.
- Develop a monthly newsletter that is distributed to the residents and mail recipients.
Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification
- Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university.
- Certification as a Recreational Therapist is preferred.
- 2 years of experience with the senior population, preferably in a long-term care and/or healthcare setting.
- Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record
