Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly
• Support medication administration and ensure compliance with care plans and HIPAA regulations
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal consumption, ensuring dietary needs are met
• Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling devices to safely transfer residents
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation tasks
• Document patient observations, care activities, and incident reports accurately and thoroughly

Experience

• Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments preferred
• Familiarity with patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
• Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders
• Experience assisting with ADLs, manual handling, and using assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards in healthcare settings
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities across diverse age groups
• Previous exposure to hospice care, geriatrics, or long-term care environments is advantageous

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
