Independent Contractor Newspaper Delivery Route – Bowling Green Area
Compensation: $225–$250 per week
Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Schedule: Thursdays and Sundays only
We are seeking a reliable Independent Contractor to service an established newspaper delivery route in the Bowling Green area. Familiarity with Bowling Green, Grand Rapids, Custar, and surrounding areas is a significant advantage.
This is a part-time, overnight motor route requiring the use of your own reliable vehicle. The route covers approximately 75 miles per delivery day and operates on Thursdays and Sundays only.
Route Information
- Delivery Area: Bowling Green, Grand Rapids, and Custar
- Route Type: Motor Route
- Approximate Mileage: 75 miles per delivery day
Thursday Draw: Approximately 80 newspapers
Sunday Draw: Approximatley 95 Newspapers
- Delivery Deadline:
- Thursday: Complete deliveries by 6:00 AM
- Sunday: Complete deliveries by 7:30 AM
Responsibilities
- Pick up newspapers from the designated distribution location
- Load newspapers into your personal vehicle
- Deliver newspapers to residential customers on an established route
- Complete all deliveries accurately and on time
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Maintain communication regarding route concerns or service issues
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A valid driver's license
- Proof of vehicle insurance
- Reliable transportation
- The ability to work overnight and early morning hours
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous delivery driver or route delivery experience but not required
- Familiarity with the Bowling Green, Grand Rapids, and Custar areas
- Strong reliability and attention to detail
