We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to facilitate smooth service and maintain high standards of hospitality.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Assist servers by communicating special requests or dietary restrictions from guests to the kitchen.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared correctly and efficiently.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest quality of service.
Skills
- Proficient in using Point of Sale (POS) systems, with experience in Aloha POS being a plus.
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on hospitality and creating positive dining experiences.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and food handling practices, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests, servers, and kitchen staff.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in banquet service or similar roles is advantageous but not required.
