The Blackshear Heights Family INC (BHF) is a community-based nonprofit organization. We host events and programs that build unity and support families. Currently Operating in West Texas. Our mission is to promote physical, mental and emotional well being within our local youth and elderly populations to accomplish greater achievements and overall personal development. We empower these efforts with positivity, leadership and unity within the community.

Role Description

We are looking for volunteers for Guest Services at our events.

• You will greet guests and provide information about the event.
• You will assist with check-in and direct people to the right areas.
• Volunteers ensure that all guests feel welcome and supported.

Volunteer Guest Services team members will:

• Greet and check in guests
• Provide event information and directions
• Ensure guests feel welcome and supported

• Friendly and approachable
• Good communication skills
• Organized and dependable
• Comfortable assisting people of all ages

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in event guests, volunteers, and partners
• Provide information about event schedules, locations, and resources
• Assist with seating, crowd flow, and general guest needs
• Support registration tables, ticketing, or merchandise booths as needed
• Serve as a point of contact for guests with questions or concerns
• Maintain a friendly, professional, and service-oriented attitude throughout the event
• Assist BHF staff in setup and breakdown of event spaces when required
