Duties
- Greet guests warmly
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
- Process payments accurately through cash handling or cashiering systems
- Clear tables, bussing as needed, and assist with setting up dining areas for new guests
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations in accordance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Assist with guest relations to create a memorable dining experience
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and inventory calculations
- Experience with food preparation, kitchen operations, or host/host roles is a plus
- Knowledge of guest relations techniques to foster positive interactions and repeat business
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required
