Optometric Assistant — Bixby Eye Center
The Bixby Eye Center is seeking a personable and reliable Optometric Assistant to join our growing practice! We offer a supportive, team-oriented work environment where patient care and work culture go hand-in-hand. Our friendly doctors and staff are excited to welcome a new member to the team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care & Support: Assist the optometrist during exams, take medical histories, and conduct preliminary testing and blood pressure readings.
- Patient Education: Guide patients through contact lens insertion, removal, and proper care.
- Administrative & Clinical Records: Accurately enter patient data into Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and handle telephone inquiries.
- Customer Service: Provide outstanding, welcoming service to ensure every patient has a positive experience.
