Duties
- Deliver exceptional guest service with warmth, accuracy, and efficiency, creating a memorable and welcoming dining experience.
- Take and enter orders accurately using the POS system, confirming all modifications, allergies, and dietary restrictions with care.
- Maintain strong menu knowledge, including food ingredients, spice levels, alcohol offerings, and cultural context, to confidently guide guests and ensure safe recommendations.
- Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly in accordance with state laws and company policies, checking IDs as required.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of your section, workstations, and shared spaces, following all health and safety protocols.
- Follow proper food safety and allergy procedures, including cross-contamination awareness, clear labeling, and communication with the kitchen.
- Perform all opening, side work, and closing duties thoroughly and consistently, supporting a clean and efficient flow of service.
- Work collaboratively with team members and kitchen staff, staying flexible and communicative during high-volume periods.
- Uphold safety and emergency procedures, staying alert and intuitive in maintaining a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Bring a positive, proactive attitude to every shift — solving problems, supporting your team, and representing the restaurant with professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of serving experience in a full-service restaurant OR 5 years in a high-volume, guest-facing customer service role (required).
- Must demonstrate professionalism, maturity, and strong communication skills at all times.
- Ability to stay composed, efficient, and guest-focused during high-pressure or fast-paced situations.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven, with a proven track record of reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to handle guest allergies, food safety protocols, and alcohol service responsibly and confidently.
- Must be able to work collaboratively with a team and take direction from leadership with a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of Korean cuisine or a willingness to learn quickly and respectfully is expected.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
