What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at The Bishop Hotel?
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the Dish areas, emptying trash and mopping.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including food safety and sanitation.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintaining sanitation standards by cleaning dishes, cutlery, pots and pans.
- Ensure a steady supply of clean cookware and dishware for staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team when needed.
- Flexible schedule, with availability to work weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry, on average 30–50 lbs.
