(1) PART TIME OPENING: Thursday/Fridays- 2:30PM-9:00PM (with availability to pick up open shifts as needed)

Our reception is the community’s face and a focal point of communication. Thus, reception is responsible for engaging and connecting with our residents, their families, employees, and all visitors in a genuine and compassionate way to represent our successful aging community’s culture and language. The primary purpose of this job is to greet residents, their families, employees, prospective residents, physicians, visiting nurses and therapists, vendors and service people, and others on the telephone and in person and provide information and referral to others. The receptionist also assists with maintaining security of the building and security for the residents and associates.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Education: Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma.
Experience: None required. On-the-job training provided.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English language to connect with customer base.
- Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.
- Be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Must be able to operate multi-line phone, copier, fax machine, and computers.
- Must adhere to dress code as per community policy.

Hiring PAY RANGE based on EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
