Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure all areas are spotless, welcoming, and well-maintained.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality standards aligned with industry best practices.
- Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping staff to uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-house areas, and facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain smooth operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or event setups that require meticulous attention to detail.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Skills
- Extensive experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial management within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning procedures.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and quality assurance.
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment, cleaning supplies, and inventory management systems.
