Duties
- Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating performance to ensure high standards of customer service and operational excellence
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets through effective merchandising, pricing, and promotional activities
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, purchasing, and merchandising to maximize product availability and presentation
- Oversee cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and other administrative tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
- Conduct employee orientation sessions, interviewing candidates for open positions, and participate in recruiting efforts to build a strong team
- Monitor store operations including shift management, customer service quality, cashiering accuracy, and safety compliance
- Utilize management skills to motivate team members, foster a positive work environment, and ensure efficient time management across all store functions
Skills
- Proven experience in retail management with supervisory or assistant manager roles preferred
