What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Shift Supervisor position at The Big Easy Casino?
- Conducts him or herself in accordance with all Department of Business and Professional Regulation standards and The Big Easy Casino policies and procedures.
- Directs and delegates responsibilities to security officers.
- Communicates all policy changes, memorandums, and special events on a daily basis.
- Patrols gaming areas and grounds to establish security presence and reports all unusual situations and suspicious persons.
- Completes thorough documentation of all medical calls.
- Completes required checklists and inspection of assets in facility.
- Provides customer service to ensure positive guest experiences.
- Prepares detailed incident reports in a clear and precise manner.
- Responsible for issuing employee Access Badges.
- Prepares fingerprint cards for The Big Easy Casino Employees.
- Hands down written disciplinary warnings when warranted.
- Conducts roll call training on a daily basis.
- Notifies Security Director of all incidents which occur on each shift on a daily basis.
All other duties assigned.
High School Diploma.
- At least 2 years of previous security experience is preferred.
- Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
- Must be a team player and able to lead by example.
- Must be able to stand for long durations of time.
- Must be able to respond calmly to emergency situations.
- Must be able to work flexible hours to include nights weekends and holidays.
Salary : $40,000 - $80,000
